IIM Signs MOU with China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM)

2019 China Smart Industry Trade Exhibition (CSITE) organised by China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM) was held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Dec 14 and 15, 2019. The two-day exhibition attracted 30 companies from China, Malaysia and other countries to participate. Chinese companies brought a variety of smart products such as smart city solutions, various robot applications, and drone displays.

This exhibition attracted tens of thousands of visitors and fully demonstrated the recognition of Malaysian society for Chinese intelligent technology.

Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian, Minister Yang Meiying and CTO Huang Weiwei eagerly discussed smart city solutions

IIM was invited to participate in the exhibition, and brought a full range of robot-based smart city, intelligent property management solutions to the exhibition, showcasing the application of its products in China and Singapore in cooperation with many clients. obtained the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian, Malaysian Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Climate Change and Environment, Yang Meiying, as well as many other guests, eagerly inquiried and highly praised.

Minister Yang Meiying has high hopes for the future cooperation plans between Malaysian and Chinese companies. He proposed that China's development experience in artificial intelligence is worth learning for Malaysia. The government plans to build a science and technology park into an artificial intelligence park (AI Park), with a special focus on developing AI, welcoming Chinese technology companies to invest in artificial intelligence and develop ecosystems.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, mentioned in his congratulatory speech at the opening ceremony that the Malaysian government wants to see smart technology shared between Malaysian and Chinese companies.

The Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia who attended the exhibition also mentioned in his speech during the day that according to a report jointly issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Cornell University, and the European School of Business Administration, China's innovation index ranking jumped to 14th place in 2019, becoming the only developing country in the top 15.

At present, China is advancing the construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of its economic structure. Malaysia is pursuing economic transformation in an all-round way to create a more dynamic new economy. The cooperation between high-tech and intelligent industries will be a bright spot in this opportunity.

IIM has actively participated in the “Belt and Road” initiative. As the first private enterprise in China ’s “Belt and Road” initiative, it officially entered the Belt and Road Industrial Park in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. At CSITE this time, IIM is also very honored to have signed a MOU with the by China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM), which is one of the five MOU’s signed at this exhibition. IIM looks forward to working with PUCM to promote Malaysia's intelligent technology blueprint.

Founded in 2015, PUCM currently has over140 companies and is the most dynamic Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia. Chamber members invest in industries such as information technology, construction, mining, oil, natural gas, telecommunications, energy, retail, manufacturing, education, medical, media, tourism and others, creating lots of job opportunities in Malaysia.
